3. Project Presentations

We are pleased to announce that we will be presenting a poster on the CAM in UME project at the 5th International Congress on Complementary Medicine Research to be held in Tromsö, Norway, May 19-21, 2010.

4. How You Can Assist

In addition to providing feedback about any element of the CAM in UME Project, you can assist with resource and acquisition.

    TLR Submission

We have a wide range of TLRs submitted to our repository such as PowerPoint slides, student handbooks, instructors notes, and session outlines. Topics are diverse and include stress, natural health products, physician self care, homeopathy, cancers, and placebo, to name a few.

If you are involved in teaching CAM-related topics to medical students (or other conventionally trained health care provider) and wish to share your materials with other educators through our Digital Resource Repository, please visit our TLR submissions or e-mail us directly.

    CAMpod Development

We are always interested in having experts write CAMpods on specific CAM practices as well as on the use of CAM for clinical conditions. As all CAMpods uploaded into the Digital Resource Repository have been peer reviewed, we are also in need of reviewers. If you are interested in volunteering to assist in developing a CAMpod, please contact Rebecca Brundin-Mather at caminume@ucalgary.ca.
